Kuwait City, KUWAIT

TUM Kuwait

Together with the local partner Malakiya, TUM International and InSITE BAVARIA are developing Kuwait’s leading university, including an excellence program in education and research, an integrated campus area of 150.000 m², an incubator, application center and a German business park. Until 2022, the campus areas will be developed into a "Knowledge City", also including a private hospital.

Jubail, SAUDI-ARABIA

Jubail Research & Innovation Cluster Hub "J-RICH"

At Saudi Arabia’s most important industrial site "Jubail New City“, InSITE BAVARIA and Jubail Industrial College build up and operate a national Cluster Excellence Center and a Research and Application Center for entrepreneurship, environmental engineering and industry 4.0. The project is part of a framework cooperation with the Royal Commission for Jubail and Yanbu.

Qatar

German University Qatar

TUM International supports the development of a German University Qatar by developing high-level programs in education and research, a research and application center and a technology transfer concept.

GEORGIA

Kutaisi University Komplex

TUM International and the Georgian Cartu Charity Foundation, in cooperation with the National Government of Georgia, will jointly establish and operate an international science and technology hub, including a German University, in Kutasi, Georgia. A German Innovation Center will be built up, including an international Research and Application Center and an international Cluster Hub.

Shenzhen, CHINA

Future City Shenzhen

The EU-China Future City in Shenzhen, Southern China, is the flagship project of the Sino-European Sustainable Urbanization Program. A joint venture with the Bavarian family office Tucher & Schmied, Cluster City, is developing and operating a European Cluster Hub, an Innovation Center and several production areas within the Future City. The project includes training and provision of local cluster managers, a technology showroom and a technology transfer center for “industry 4.0”.

Mumbai-Pune, INDIA

Life Science Valley Delphi

Together with one of India’s biggest industrial developer, Shapoorji Pallonji, InSITE BAVARIA prepares the development of a „Life Science Valley“ in a rural area between Mumbai and Pune, including business parks, an industrial showroom for life science, environmental technology and biotechnology, a research and application center and social infrastructure.

Mysore, INDIA

Aero Valley Mysore

As a joint development with one of India’s biggest construction and real estate companies, Shapoorji Pallonji, InSITE BAVARIA will set up a production and qualification cluster for aerospace and automation in the mobility sector in Mysore, Southern India. The AeroValley will include colleges and training centers, production areas for European and Indian companies and a technology transfer hub.

GHANA

Cape City Ghana

InSITE Bavaria’s Cluster City prepares the development and operation of a „Cape City Ghana“ together with the Catholic Church. The project will include a logistic hub and business parks as well as schools and social infrastructure. It is the first project of a long-term initiative with the Holy See to realize new models of sustainable economic development in poorer regions by building up local value chains and generating sustainable jobs.

NETHERLANDS-GERMANY-ITALY

TRECNewMat

InSITE BAVARIA is part of the EU-funded project „TRECNew Mat“. The TRECNewMat partners, including Chemical Cluster Bavaria (CCB), Chemelot Campus in the Netherlands and IDM Südtirol, are developing new standards and a cross-regional masterplan for smart-specialization investments into European technology and industry parks.

MEXICO

Sustainability Initiative COPLAN

In cooperation with COPLAN, a joint initiative of GIZ and AHK Mexico, InSITE BAVARIA has started an initiative for sustainable industrialization in Mexico and Central America. The first work package of this initiative is the creation of a „sustainability calculator“, demonstrating the return on sustainability investments into industry parks.

CORFO

InSITE BAVARIA and the economic development agency of Chile, CORFO, are preparing an ambitious roadmap of developing new value chains based on lithium production.

Lublin, POLAND

Smart Industry Center Lublin

Together with the city of Lublin, InSITE BAVARIA is developing an international industry park and application center for industry 4.0 and smart mobility at a traditional automotive site in Eastern Poland. InSITE BAVARIA provides master planning, functional planning, allocation strategies and park operation. A scientific and commercial cluster cooperation platform will be set up until 2018, including a joint research center with major industrial partners.

Tai'an, Shandong, CHINA

Sino-German Safety Cluster Tai'an

Together with China Academy of Safety Science and Technology (CASST) and the Tai’an Hi-tech Development Zone, INSITE BAVARIA establishes a „Sino-German Safety Technology Industry Cluster“, which will become China’s leading cluster in the fields of safety technology. The project includes a competence center and a training academy.
